The agreement
These terms are between you and AshaVid, based in Ontario, Canada. If you use Contivo for a company, you accept them on the company's behalf and confirm you are allowed to.
The Privacy page is part of this agreement. It explains what we do with your data.
Early access
Contivo is in early access. Features will change, some will be added and some removed, and there will be outages. For now we make no uptime promise.
While billing is not live, using Contivo is free. Before we start charging, we will tell you what it costs, and nothing is charged without your agreement.
Your account
You must be at least 16, give a real email address, and keep your password to yourself. Whatever happens under your account is your responsibility, so if you think someone else has access, tell us straight away.
Your content
Everything you bring stays yours: your site, your text, your brand. What Contivo writes for you is yours too, and you can use it however you like.
To run the service, you give us permission to store and process that content and send it to the providers named on the Privacy page. That permission covers running Contivo for you and ends when your content is deleted.
You confirm you have the right to what you bring, and the right to publish on every account you connect.
What the AI writes
Contivo writes with AI models, and they make mistakes: a wrong fact, an invented number, a claim your business cannot back. The quality gate is there to catch these, and it does catch a lot. It does not catch everything.
You are responsible for what is published under your name. If you switch Autopilot on, you are telling Contivo to publish without asking you each time, and the responsibility for those posts is yours as well. If a post matters, read it first.
What you may not do
- Publish spam, or anything illegal, deceptive, or infringing someone else's rights.
- Pretend to be someone you are not, or connect an account you have no right to.
- Use Contivo to overload or attack another website.
- Get around usage limits, or probe and break the service's security.
- Resell Contivo to others without an agreement with us.
If you do, we can suspend or close your account. Where we can, we warn you first.
Connected networks
When you connect LinkedIn, X or your own site, that platform's own rules apply as well. Those platforms can change their APIs, restrict access or disconnect an account, and when they do, publishing through Contivo may stop. That is outside our control, and we are not responsible for it.
Payment and refunds
When billing is live, prices are those shown on the Pricing page when you subscribe. Subscriptions renew each period until you cancel. Cancelling stops the next renewal, and your plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for.
Within 14 days of any payment, write to farjad@ashavid.ca and we refund that payment in full. We will not ask why.
If we change a price, we tell you at least 30 days before it applies to you. Taxes are added where the law requires.
Ending the agreement
You can stop using Contivo and ask for your account to be deleted at any time. If you want a copy of your content first, ask and we send it to you.
We can close accounts that break these terms. If we ever shut Contivo down, we give at least 30 days' notice so you can take your content with you.
Liability
Contivo is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we make no promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will produce a particular business result.
As far as the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to whichever is greater: what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or 100 Canadian dollars. We are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profit or lost data. Nothing here limits rights the law does not allow us to limit.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Disputes go to the courts of Ontario.
Changes
If we change these terms, the date at the top changes. For a change that matters, we email you at least 14 days before it takes effect. If you keep using Contivo after that, you accept the new terms. If you do not accept them, you can close your account.
Questions about these terms go to farjad@ashavid.ca.
